GAAVANI invites you to experience the musical wonderment of Kirtan when it is woven together

with enriching Sikh spiritual wisdom, as expressed by prominent and talented female musicians.

For the first time, due to demand, GAAVANI is coming to New Jersey Oct 5-6 to present a

historical concert featuring female singers from across the globe. Kirtan (Sikh devotional music)

is a spiritual practice, where practitioners express the Divine Wisdom from their scripture through

song, poetic measure and instrumental accompaniment. A timeless faith practice, rooted in

connecting one to the divinity of their inner being, Kirtan is accessible to everybody regardless of

age, gender, status, orientation, ethnicity, etc. Kirtan is commonly performed in community,

where anyone can join in to listen, enjoy and connect.

Sikh women are crucial in inspiring the next generation to embody faith and genuine connection

by leading with Kirtan as a spiritual practice. We are proud to present GAAVANI for the first time

in New Jersey and everyone is invited to attend, immerse and marvel in our treasured musical

revelations.
